Profile
I am a stay at home mom, and I have a seven year old son and a three year old daughter. I love my children and truly enjoy being home with them to see them grow and develop. This year my son is going to 2nd grade and so I will only have my daughter at home with me. This will be my third year of teaching during the school year, and I have taught two years of summer camp classes. I love to teach young children crafting classes! I have been crafting with my mom since I was a little girl. This tradition is something that I've passed down to my son and I would love to help other children find their creativity!

I worked one-on-one with a child with down syndrome and three adults with different disabilities.
I helped the child with down syndrome with her speech, school work, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills. We would cook together, do craft projects, go bowling, go shopping, and many more activities.
With the adults I helped them with their social skills and controlling their emotions.
I also taught a craft class for all of the adults with disabilities that was held once a month.

I led the group during the following daily activities: snack time, story time, craft time, centers, and outdoor play. I also was often in charge of creating decorations for the classroom for the theme of each month. My favorite part of preschool was helping the children with their craft projects. It was so much fun to see them use their imaginations!
